In Ozzy Ox: Toy Trauma, Ozzy Ox is barely awake when, while getting out of bed, he slips on toys left on the floor of his room. MomOx comes running when she hears a boom and a thump to find Ozzy on the floor with a bump already projecting from his head. She suppresses her fear and rushes off to the emergency room. Her concern for Ozzy's health pairs with the guilt she feels for the toy mess that hurt Ozzy. What will soothe MomOx's guilty conscience and Ozzy's hurting head?
Learn how one mother and son, with the help of a dynamic healthcare team, traverse through a dilemma with courage topped with comedy and camaraderie. Although a visit to an emergency room is never a wish, humor partners with compassion in this kids book about falling down to make a doleful event bearable. Thus, despite its somber subject, this is definitely one of those funny books your kids will love!
