What really happened to the USS Eldridge?
Did the U.S. Navy use a secret cloaking device in 1947 to make the USS Eldridge vanish-and then reappear? Did Albert Einstein play a hidden role in this top secret project? And what became of the fifteen missing crew members who volunteered for the experiment?
Spanning from the early days of WWII to the height of the Cold War, Operation Racehorse is a gripping historical thriller that blends fact and fiction to explore one of the most mysterious government experiments of the 20th century. This story will pique your curiosity, challenge what you thought you knew about history, and keep you turning the pages.
Mike Dixon, a former U.S. Navy CTI Russian linguist and lifelong educator, draws from personal military knowledge and years of research to deliver a story packed with suspense, conspiracy, and thought-provoking twists. He is also the author of All in a Day's Work, a collection of short stories. Mike lives in central California with his wife Leo and their children, Olivia and Christopher.
