Join a loving Catholic family as they discover the beauty, wonder, and meaning of the Holy Mass.
On the Day You Go to Mass is a heartwarming Catholic children's book that gently introduces toddlers, preschoolers, and young children to the Holy Mass through simple explanations, beautiful watercolor illustrations, and a relatable family journey.
From getting dressed for church and dipping fingers into the holy water font, to genuflecting before Jesus, singing hymns, listening to God's Word, receiving Holy Communion or a blessing, and being sent forth to love and serve the Lord, children will learn what happens at Mass and why it is such a special gift from God.
Along the way, young readers will discover:
- The importance of Sunday Mass
- How God gives us special graces
- Why we pray, sing, and listen during Mass
- What genuflecting means
- The role of the priest and altar servers
- The beauty of the Eucharist
- How Jesus fills our hearts with His love
- Ways to live out our faith after Mass ends
Written in a gentle, age-appropriate style, this Catholic picture book helps children understand that Mass is more than something we do each Sunday-it is a special time to meet Jesus, receive His grace, and grow closer to Him.
Perfect for:
- Catholic toddlers and preschoolers
- First introduction to the Holy Mass
- Catholic families and grandparents
- Homeschool and religious education programs
- Catholic schools and parish libraries
- Baptism, First Communion, Easter, and Christmas gifts
Help your child fall in love with the Holy Mass and discover the wonderful gifts God gives us each time we enter His house.
