Filled with inspirational, funny, and thought-provoking poems about Growing Older, Growing Wiser, and Growing Giddy, this collection was written by a Baby Boomer who retired after a 45-year career as a teacher, attorney, and nonprofit manager. The initial poem, Self-Inspection, describes the author's intense process of regrouping upon retirement, which he says was as ridiculous as it was helpful. The Growing Older section provides a variety of perspectives on aging. The Growing Wiser section reflects on lessons learned along the way. Finally, the Growing Giddy section focuses, in a lighthearted way, on some of the awesome and awkward approaches of we human beings.
