In this realistic fiction novel, we follow 17-year-old Kace from Tokyo as he documents inner thoughts he dare not speak, spanning from July 1st, 2019, to July 7th, 2020. Plunging into the Covid-19 pandemic, Kace's predominant emotion is feeling guided by unseen forces, each step dictated by societal expectations, family obligations, and the fear of a predictable and unfulfilling future. Tired of his personal shyness and anxiety to deal with the unknown, Kace's journey involves self-restraint, where fear of judgment keeps him from revealing his true self.
However, within the pages of his diary, a transformation begins the day he puts pen to paper. As Kace's words spill onto the pages, a change takes root within him. His diary becomes a space for frustrations, a roadmap guiding him towards self-discovery and independence. Yearning to break free from his inhibitions, Kace's venture is more than a quest for freedom; it's navigating chaos in adolescence, summoning the courage to seize control of life, and making choices that defy expectations.
His diary entries offer unfiltered glimpses into the complexities of friendship, love, and self-discovery. Amidst the unexpected challenges, Kace finds himself entangled in an unexpected romance that adds both sweetness and complexity to his journey. With each chapter marking a day in his life, Kace's narrative unfolds in real time, capturing the peaks and valleys of his pursuit to redefine his destiny. Setting an ambitious goal for himself-something impossible-this mission, fueled by deep desire and bold ambition, tests the limits of his newfound courage.
Will Kace's journey lead him to the freedom he yearns for? Can he break free from the invisible chains of society and complete his extraordinary goal? No System goes beyond being just a diary; it stands as a testament to the power of self-expression, the unyielding spirit of youth, and the unexpected twists of romance. Dive into Kace's world to discover if he achieves his audacious dream and the valuable lessons he learns along the way.
