Nobody Else Sees It

Danny Mercer's life is held together by expired leftovers, bad decisions, and a floating baseball-sized creature named Orbit that only he can see.
Orbit is sarcastic, reckless, emotionally manipulative, and constantly encouraging Danny to ruin his own life in increasingly creative ways. Whether it's sabotaging relationships, starting arguments, making terrible impulsive choices, or whispering the absolute worst possible advice at the worst possible moments, Orbit is always there.

And Danny is exhausted.
Then there's Shay.
Smart, guarded, and equally damaged, Shay has spent years trying to keep her own life under control while dealing with Velvet - a cruel, sharp-tongued floating companion only she can see. Unlike Danny and Orbit, Shay has learned to hide the chaos better.
At least she thought she had.
As Danny and Shay's messy relationship keeps collapsing under fear, misunderstandings, and invisible sabotage, they slowly uncover a terrifying truth:
They are not alone.
Orbit and Velvet are part of something far older and stranger - invisible emotional parasites born from loneliness, trauma, fear, and the desperate human need to survive pain. The more isolated their hosts become, the stronger these creatures grow.
But healing changes things.
And the more Danny and Shay begin trusting each other, the weaker the voices become.
Darkly funny, emotionally raw, unsettling, and strangely heartfelt, Nobody Else Sees It is a story about intrusive thoughts, self-sabotage, love, trauma, and the invisible things people carry every day.
Because sometimes the worst voice in your life...
knows your name.
