A New Constitution For A New America is a book written by William MacDonald in 1921. In this book, MacDonald argues that the United States needs a new constitution to address the changing needs of the country in the 20th century. He suggests that the current constitution, written in the 18th century, is outdated and no longer applicable to modern society. MacDonald proposes several changes to the constitution, including the creation of a unicameral legislature, the abolition of the electoral college, and the establishment of a national referendum system. He also advocates for the inclusion of new amendments, such as a bill of rights for workers and the guarantee of equal rights for women. MacDonald's book is a thought-provoking analysis of the flaws in the current constitution and provides a compelling argument for why a new constitution is necessary for the continued success of the United States. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
