It is a perennial philosophy, grounded in the conviction that reality is intelligible, that truth is the conformity of the mind to what is, and that the human person is ordered toward the contemplation of being. Thomism offers a metaphysical architecture capable of supporting theology, ethics, politics, and culture. It provides a coherent vision of the world in which faith and reason are not adversaries but allies, each illuminating the other.
