The Naughty Elves have worked their way into the mainstream Christmas tradition within the last decade or so, with parents light-heartedly playing pranks, pretending that it is the Elves getting into mischief. Many photos are uploaded illustrating their humorous exploits. However, the sacred time celebrating the birth of Christ feels to me (the author) as this being counter-intuitive to the Christmas spirit in general. And that is why I wrote this book - seeking the redemption of the naughty Elves, and perhaps (here's hoping) in years to come they can start doing some unexpected nice works that bring joy and gratitude along the way.
