My Cat is NOT a Cat

By: Shauni Derington

My Cat is NOT a Cat is a funny book told through both the writing and the illustrations about a little black cat and all the silly things he does that are not typical of a cat. The inspiration for this book came one day when the author, Shauni Derington, was eating lunch with her friends at work. While telling a funny story about something her cats did, one of her co-workers stated that would make a really good book. A seed was planted and after some thought and a little bit of elbow grease, we have a book. My Cat is NOT a Cat is about the author's cats, Sky and Boo.
