When Jack, one of the owners, has a suspiciousaccident his brother, co-owner Michael Dalton, asksthe Trentons to stay on and help out during the busyfall season while Jack is recovering. The midnighthunt is seen and heard much too often. In fact MichaelDalton and the others at the Inn have come tothe conclusion that it's all too human, with a frighteningunknown agenda.
