When Becky meets Kyle, she's enthralled by the former Marine sniper. He's nothing like the people she's accustomed to meeting in the elite circles of Chicago.

Kyle won't be civilized, and he yearns for adventure. It isn't long before the couple heads to the mountains of Colorado to return a pendant to the family of a Gulf War veteran who battled alongside Kyle.

The eighteen-year-old Becky, who still regularly talks to her imaginary friend, Cathy, hopes to settle down to a nice, quiet place where she can learn about love, family, and being an adult. Meanwhile, Kyle wants to explore the gold mines in the mysterious mountains.

Deep in the rugged Rockies, the couple becomes friends with Laverne and Harold, the parents of Kyle's friend who was killed in the war. Seeking to help them, Becky contacts her father, but when she does, she opens up a whole new chapter in her life.

Join Becky and Kyle in the sequel to Sunrise Mystique as they encounter something shocking that neither one of them expects in the rugged terrain of Colorado in Mountain Mystique.
