The Shumard family is supposed to be going on a vacation. Every time they try to relax, they get a call from their boss Dr. Ferial. Dr. Ferial calls them every time to go out on assignments.
Mr. Shumard's sister, Christina, needs help getting away from her abusive husband. Her brother helps out before he takes the family out on the vacation. After he helps out his sister, the family appears to have more missions while trying to be on vacation.
The parents didn't know at first that they both work for the same agency until the dad receives a phone call from his boss and wants to talk to his wife. The children of the family also join in on the missions.
This book is set up for a family to enjoy on a rainy day or winter night.
