The people of the United states are paying for the government's record debt in the worst possible way. Having run out of money and unable to borrow more there is no choice but an actual shut down, of everything. The ongoing, decades-long wars have finally come to an end. Instead, he finds himself being called upon by his community to restore peace in his small town. Mike trains his neighbors as he himself was trained by the Army. Together they restore a sense of safety to the town. As things worsen without a functioning government, China invades and easily occupies this once great nation. Mike realizing his hometown militia will not be able to protect his community much longer moves them to a remote area of Montana. he is familiar with. The peaceful existence in Montana ends for Mike when he hears the Chinese have imprisoned his people in concentration camps. Mike's oath to protect his country as an Army Ranger is more important today than ever before. It is now up to Mike, and Mike's militia to take back this once proud nation and restore the values this country was founded on.
