وكانت تعقد في الحيرة مجالس الشعر والمحاورات واللقاءات الأدبية، وخاصة في مجالس اللخميين، وفي هذه المسرحية يتناول صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، أحد تلك المجالس، وهو مجلس الملك النعمان بن المنذر، ملك الحيرة ما بين عام 585م إلى عام 613م.
