Every single line of the book appears three ways - the Chinese (Mandarin) text, a friendly say-it line, and the English translation - so you always know exactly what you are reading and exactly how to say it.

Every line shows true Chinese characters with an English-friendly say-it line beneath, plus color-coded tone numbers that turn Mandarin's famous four tones into a game a child can see. A dedicated Four Tones page (ma-ma-ma-ma!) makes the music of Chinese click for the whole family.
