About the author:
Leopoldo Ceballos was born in Madrid in 1978. He holds a degree in Psychology from UNED and a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Lincoln (United Kingdom). Before devoting himself professionally to psychology, he built an extensive career in the tech field, working as an IT instructor in a variety of settings (master's programs, technical and vocational training), including institutions such as the Spanish Navy, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), Renfe, El Corte Inglés, and the Autonomous University of Madrid.
He has over 30 years of hands-on experience with computers and the internet, from the early days of BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) to generative AI, including e-commerce and SEO. He has taught courses on programming, e-commerce, UML, web design, and project management.
His technical background gives him a deep understanding of how digital systems work - and where their limits lie - which strengthens the validity of his insights on the role of AI in the psychological field. After founding and directing several tech companies and co-founding the TOC Madrid Association, he shifted his focus entirely to psychology, particularly to Regressive Therapy, in which he trained under Dr. José Luis Cabouli and other international experts.
Since then, he has conducted over 4,000 regression sessions and currently works as a couples therapist, family therapist, and home-based and online psychologist. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association for Regressive Therapy (AETR), where he is treasurer, and has contributed as co-author to several of its collective publications, as well as writing solo titles.
He regularly collaborates with media outlets such as La Vanguardia, El Periódico, and Maussan TV, and organizes workshops, talks, and conferences on emotional health, regression therapy, and personal growth.
Leopoldo Ceballos advocates for an approach to psychotherapy grounded in respect, awareness, deep connection, and rigorous knowledge. He affirms that his profession is, for him, a constant source of learning, meaning, and fulfillment.
