As I journey in life having spent a little bit over five (5) decades on the earth, I have had various and varying experiences in, about and of life.
Without doubt, I have had many (a lot more than most, and far beyond I can count, recount, number or even remember) years of pleasurable and pleasant experiences, and of course many (perhaps, and definitely not as many as my pleasurable and pleasant) painful and unpleasant experiences in/of life, as well.
Without doubt, I have had many (a lot more than most, and far beyond I can count, recount, number or even remember) years of pleasurable and pleasant experiences, and of course many (perhaps, and definitely not as many as my pleasurable and pleasant) painful and unpleasant experiences in/of life, as well.
In a funny way, and I guess with many others, those unpleasant ones would want to stick and stay longer than the pleasant ones, thereby influencing in ways more than the pleasant ones ought to and should have influenced us.
In this collection of thoughts, which I should say ahead of time, that some (I cannot say what fraction, proportion or percentage) did not originate from me, but even at that, those that did not originate from me, I have had to edit and modify to suit me and my thoughts (that I want to convey), and in many cases me and whatever I was and had experienced, and may be do not want to experience, but want to share with you.
Honestly, a few of the writing I just found funny and satirical, which are just mere funny and not to be taken too seriously, much less to be made a rule of/for one's life.
When I had a life shaking experience in 2017/18, when I was bitterly betrayed by a loved one and I could not do anything about that betrayal, rather, could not do what I ordinarily would have done as a result of that betrayal. That was when I began to pencil down my other experiences beginning at that time; some of those experiences that brought about this collection of writings - some of those experiences are way smaller in consequences and impacts compared to that initial bitter experience.
To be honest, many of the writings did and do not actually speak to me or my personal experiences directly, but to what others felt and experienced that I learnt about during counselling many people (something I do a lot). These things I have also learnt from my interaction with others, but also shook me at that time of my learning of/about them, though tried and carefully concealed from those concerned.
This collection of writings may give you an indication into certain patterns of/about my person, which if any reader wants to take as a prescription would without doubt be misled to know the type of person I am.
When I began writing and collecting these writings, my mind and purpose was not to say/writing anything about me for publication, but as earlier mentioned, they are writings that intrigued me and fascinated me, even with those that originated from my personal experiences, as I am shocked many times by the lessons gleaned from the experience that birth the writings every time I read them.
