The Mass begins with the Introductory Rites, where we greet each other and ask for God's forgiveness for any mistakes we've made. Then comes the Liturgy of the Word, where we listen to readings from the Bible. This part includes the Gospel, where we hear about Jesus' life, love, and teachings. The priest shares a homily to help us understand how we can follow Jesus in our daily lives.
The next part is the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Here, the priest takes bread and wine and prays over them. We believe that, through the Holy Spirit, these become the Body and Blood of Jesus. This is a very holy moment because Jesus is present with us in a special way. When we receive Communion, we're welcoming Jesus into our hearts. The Mass ends with the Concluding Rites, where we are blessed and sent out to share God's love with others. Mass is a gift where we can thank God, pray for our needs, and grow in faith.
