This musical performance piece introduces the audience to the characters of St. Michael the Archangel, the Angel Gabriel and the Angel Raphael. There is also a bit of comic relief with the characters Chester and Jasper, that cherubim who volunteer to find out why the children of the Earth have forgotten their Guardian Angel when they need them most. They encounter three children that are very despondent despite the fact each of their Guardian Angels are trying to comfort them. When an Angel disguised as a homeless man appears, he speaks to the boy's Guardian Angel and relays a message from someone very special. Enhancing the story line are works from DON PASQUALE, DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE and HANSEL AND GRETEL. The finale of the piece is the beautiful Evening Prayer sung by the entire cast.
