A complete music source for church organists. The musical language of this collection is simple and traditional with some unobtrusive contemporary element, and most of the pieces may be sight-read without much preparation. 24 Preludes op.91, Organ pieces op.96 and 25 Short preludes op.100 were written by Misha V. Stefanuk whose credits range from Mel Bay's bestseller Jazz Piano Chords to composing episode music for One Life to Live and All My Children. The book also includes common church pieces: Away in a Manger, The first Noel, Joy to the World, Ave Verum Corpus, Trumpet Voluntary, Jesu Joy, both Wedding Marches, Pomp and Circumstance, Canon in D, The Halleluyah Chorus and more. Accompaning CD is available from www.sheetmusicpress.com In all, this collection consists of 70 organ compositions, which will sufficiently supply music for over a year of church services.
