In the summer of 1984, Quantum Quartet was a unifying force. Combining comedy and horror, it became one of the most successful films of all time, spawning a beloved franchise that included animated TV shows, comics, and video games. Now, in 2016, Yamatsu Studios is preparing to release a reboot with an all-female cast. When the first trailer drops, it unleashes a torrent of online hate, abuse, and think pieces.Oh, and murder. With female Yamatsu employees being killed, Mander Mandy Manley and Eulalia the Dutchess Babineaux find themselves caught in a deadly web of intersecting systems of oppression, third wave feminism, men's rights activists, misogyny, online trolling, and weaponized Amazon reviews. This is the second misadventure of the mismatched freelance marketing and promotions consultants Mandy and the Dutchess. Their first, The Misadventure of Dreama and the Rednecks, is also available.
