The story of a kitten who learned to love and trust. When Mikie is abandoned by his mother when she is too sick to cope, little does he believe it will be for his own good. Moved from a rescue centre to foster care before being adopted, he finally starts to enjoy his comfy and playful new life with Mandy and John and their cats, Alexander and Polly. Troubled by bullying cats and the death of a furry friend, will Mikie let wise cat, Ginger, help him understand the importance of love and friendship and learn how to be part of his Scottish family or will he rebel? Heart-warming and uplifting, Mikie Finds a Family is a perfect read for fans of Michael Morpurgo, Sheila Jeffries, Celia Haddon and Rachel Wells.
