At night, Eddie escapes into the underground club scene - The Metro, The Flash, crowded dance floors, cigarette smoke, dark music, black coats, and friendships forged under neon lights. There are road trips, festivals, stolen moments by the lake, and the reckless freedom of being young enough to believe every feeling might last forever.
Then love begins to fracture him.
First comes G - beautiful, mysterious, and devastatingly complicated. Then Tanja, whose confidence, honesty, and hunger for a larger life pull Eddie out of himself before teaching him how fragile certainty can be. And later Danielle, who arrives when Eddie has learned to protect himself so well that even love begins to feel temporary.
