and perhaps you might not even get that. When I think
about what it meant to die,
what it meant back then and now,
I reflect on the things that keep me alive. I haven't
always wanted to live my life,
and I've struggled with suicidal ideation
since I was the age of ten, praying for death. The Latin phrase

helped me search for peace and
tranquility that I never could have thought. While I'm
still working on my past, present,
and what my future on Earth means,
I know I'm meant to be here, alive and breathing. One day, eventually,
