This collection of six short stories brings to life spectacular episodes in the lives of some of the Church's best-known saints. While some of the stories are based on legends, all contain indisputable truths about the heroism and virtue of these beloved men and women. (And furry, four-footed friends as well!)

St. Catherine and the Medal from Heaven * - The Church-approved story of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to St. Catherine Laboure.

St. Martin and the Monastery Mice * - How St. Martin de Porres solved the pesky problem of his monastery's midnight munchers.

St. Isidore's Angel * - An inspiring story of an angel's helping hand to a humble and hard-working farmer.

St. Francis and the Wolf - The astonishing legend of how St. Francis made peace between a vicious wolf and the people of Gubbio.

St. Rose and the Pirates - How St. Rose of Lima used the power of the Blessed Sacrament to save her city from bloodthirsty pirates.

The Angels of the Alps - A story about one of God's most faithful and self-sacrificing creatures, the Saint Bernard, with fun facts about these amazing dogs.
