The Man From Home is a novel written by Booth Tarkington. The story revolves around a wealthy American named John Marvin who travels to Europe to escape his troubles at home. While staying in a small village in Austria, he meets a group of American tourists who mistake him for a famous American millionaire. Marvin decides to play along with the mistaken identity and enjoys the attention and adoration he receives from the group. However, he soon realizes that his actions have consequences and must face the truth about his past and his future.
