As a flawed fisherman, Jesus cradled him close. Peter remained one of the inner three as Jesus performed miracles, healings and cast out demons.
Peter's early ministry involved healing a lame man at the temple, preaching in Solomon's Porch, confronting the Sanhedrin with the Resurrection. Rrayed for greater boldness as persecution grew, and witnessed the Holy Spirit fall on the Gentiles.
Peter feared the Judaizers, which prompted Paul's public rebuke, as the core doctrines: Unity, Justification by Faith, Freedom from the Law, the Gospel, and Grace were eroded.
Peter encouraged Christians to endure suffering, live holy and hopeful lives, resist false teaching, and look forward to the Lord's return as his final exhortation is recorded:
Beware of error, remain steadfast, and continue to grow in the Grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
