Can love for a ghost... compel death? Who is the ghost who walks the streets of Sandalwood, Georgia? Always alone. Shrouded in mystery. Waiting... for what? For someone to lift a curse that dooms him to spend one thousand years alone. Until... her. Until a fateful night discloses... A Madrigal in Moonlight. In genre, the stageplay can be described as a haunting kind of Romantic Noir, and Mystery, that harkens back to the flavor of that most Southern of playwrights, Tennessee Williams, but also evokes the cadences of English writers, such as Noel Coward and Harold Pinter. An unusual return to the structure of the well-made play, within the genre conventions of film noir, and the supernatural atmospherics of the legendary television series, The Twilight Zone, A Madrigal in Moonlight provides the theatrical experience one longs for but rarely finds, a swiftly-moving story, haunting, romantic, and well told.
