Madcap Family Book 6 takes us back in time to the night of that terrible storm; that storm that took place in October! There was a freak storm, the night that the Westman, twin baby girls, were born. While Pop was delivering the twin girls... where was Sheriff Morgan Dun? Morgan and the Westman family are great friends. Morgan first pulls over a frantic Alden Westman. Alden is driving in the storm to take his wife Stella to the hospital, so she can give birth. The only problem is... he forgot to put his wife in the car; he drove off without her! Morgan then pulls over a female in distress. She's handcuffed to her own steering wheel; she's bloody and broken, not to mention... very pregnant. She claims at the hospital that her name is Janey Doebuck... hmm... nope! Eventually, they learn that her real name is London. London is running from her very abusive ex-husband. Her ex-husband has money and connections. Trent is determined to find her, he wants her back, no matter what! London begs Sheriff Morgan to just let her go. Morgan realizes that she has no money, and her tank is empty. So, Morgan helps this beautiful lady the only way he knows how. He un-cuffs her, re-cuffs her, and puts her in the back of his squad car. Morgan takes her to the hospital to get checked over. Along the way, London meets the Westman clan. London realizes that she doesn't have to fight alone anymore. London has Sheriff Morgan, the Westman's, and some of the other town folks that are determined to help her. London realizes that it's better to stand and fight, no more running!
