The From Alone to A Home Collection is a series of shelter stories all inspired by true events. Loosey Lucy follows a terrified stray dog who is finally caught and brought to the animal shelter. She never becomes fully comfortable around the humans, but befriends another shelter dog who teaches her how to trust. She is adopted into a wonderful family, but without her doggy pal, she is too scared to settle in. She bolts the first chance she gets and a stray dog she becomes again. Will this fearful girl ever see her best friend again or ever learn to accept the love her new family will show her? Come along for the ride! A portion of the proceeds from sales of these books will be donated to help provide care and comfort for animals in animal shelters.
