If your family lives in an area where the climate is mild year round, there is a good chance your child will encounter some very interesting animals in the yard. Six-year old Bubby lives in a small bungalow with his Grandma Berta. He loves finding animals and learning about them. This book describes how Bubby encounters a tiny lizard who lives in the bushes just outside his back door. Bubby has great fun observing and learning about his new friend, whom he names Lenny. Lenny the Lizard is the first book in a series of books called the Bubby Series. Each book contains a story about a different animal found at Bubby's house. These stories will inspire young children to go outside and explore to see what animals they might find. Each book will help the young reader become a life-long reader.
