One of the most well written stories I have read this year. This story brought me to tears more than once- and I'm talking the sobbing, can't-see-the-words-because-the-tears-won't-stop, kind of crying. I was/am so invested in these characters, their story touched me, and I was rooting for them the whole way through- praying for a miracle. That's how 'real' these characters became to me. Mikaela and Matt's love is amazing! Sometimes love is work. Every time, though, love is worth it. This author never ceases to amaze me. Wow! . . . If you want a tender and heart-grabbing love story to add to your collection this is the book for you. I highly recommend it. This couple are so well portrayed I feel as though I know them, their story, while not easy, and often heart wrenching is also one, of hope and faith, of unfailing optimism and trust, of being honest and open and, most importantly, one of love. Great job Ms Lewis!
