This book is based on a true story. It is about our grandpa BW and the love he had for his family. He was a very influential and strong yet gentle man, loved by many. When he became sick he was still a positive example of strength while fighting his health challenges. During one of his last surgeries, Grammy prayed, Lord, I can take hearing a code blue during surgery if you will take him and show him who you are and who he is in you. Grandpa went toward the light during that surgery; and as he did, he later told us, he could look down at the operating room and see his body lying on the table. He saw the doctors and nurses, not as people but as balls of light, yet he was aware that he instinctively knew which one was the doctor and which ones were the nurses.
