This is a comedic story about Susan, Justine, and Lisa, unfolding around modern dating, emotional confusion, and the gap between intention and behavior in relationships.
Susan is a calm, grounded woman who wants stability and emotional clarity. She is not interested in chaos or mixed signals, she values peace, honesty, and consistency above all else.
Justine is charming but inconsistent, often caught between wanting connection and not fully understanding how to sustain it. Lisa, Susan's outspoken and highly skeptical friend, acts as the voice of caution throughout the story. She constantly questions Justine's behavior and suspects that calm periods are often just temporary breaks before more chaos.
As Susan and Justine interact, their relationship goes through misunderstandings, emotional missteps, and humorous attempts at communication. Over time, Susan begins to see the difference between emotional excitement and emotional safety, while Justine slowly learns... through experience rather than theory, that real change requires consistency, not intention alone.
Eventually, Susan chooses peace over confusion, stepping away from the cycle of mixed signals. Justine is left to reflect on his behavior and begin a quieter, more honest form of growth. Lisa remains convinced that she saw all of this coming from the beginning.
At its core, the book is a light, humorous look at modern relationships, emotional maturity, and the realization that sometimes the healthiest ending is simply letting go of confusion and choosing peace instead.
