Caught between personal intimacy and political unrest, these poems navigate the frontline of love and the fault lines of a fractured world. From protest chants to romantic literature, heartbreak to hope, this collection captures what it means to love deeply, feel too much, and fight-both inside and out-for something worth believing in.
I wanted to write this book and share my personal experiences with being in my twenties, because right now our world is currently on fire. I wanted to capture the duality of being in your twenties while trying to find love and find yourself in a time marked by chaos, protest, heartbreak, and politics- where every moment feels both deeply personal and undeniably historical. With that being said, please enjoy Love & War in Your Twenties.
