Lola Gates experiences repeated frustration with her soda deliveries, finding the beverages unpleasantly hot. Her initial attempts to resolve this issue are thwarted when the delivery person responsible is fired, leaving her with no immediate avenue for a refund. She eventually escalates the complaint to the manager, who grants her a refund. Persistent in her quest for cold soda, Lola tries again, this time personally overseeing the delivery, but the soda remains excessively hot. The delivery person shifts blame to the store, leading Lola to complain directly to the store and successfully obtain another refund. Having endured multiple disappointing experiences with hot soda, Lola decides to change her order to ice cream, hoping to circumvent the recurring problem and finally achieve a satisfactory delivery.
