It had been a stormy year. Will Christmas be the same in Loch Downe?

Read the superb story of Christmas spirit, by bestselling author-illustrator partners, Alex Goss and Nathalie Goss.

All Aaron wanted for Christmas was a rocking horse, but when a sad letter from Santa dropped on this doormat, Aaron knew he needed to act.

The year of lockdown and how communities come together, is gently woven through beautiful illustrations and a story like none other. If ever a children's story captured the human spirit that's seen us through the most challenging time of this century, it is this one.

From the bestselling author of We All Belong comes a beautiful modern story celebrating Christmas, kindness and community spirit.

  • Elves haven't made toys.
  • Families haven't been together.
  • There's not even a Christmas tree in the village for everyone to enjoy.
  • Can one small boy turn it all around?
