Some questions are too big for a quick answer. Little Wonders is the first collection in the Pip & Friends series: five gentle bilingual stories in which children don't get told how the world works - they watch it happen.
A small hedgehog searches the night forest for a star that has fallen from the sky. A raindrop leaves its cloud in fear and travels all the way to the sea and back again. Every story follows one little character through a real adventure, and along the way something about the world quietly explains itself.
Each page carries the full story twice - in English and in Spanish - set together beneath the same illustration. Bilingual families can read in either language, or both. Children learning a second language meet the same sentence again in words they already care about, which is the moment a language starts to stick.
The Spanish is neutral Latin American Spanish, natural for readers across the Americas.
