Join Shoppy the Cart on Halloween! During this magical day, you'll see how Shoppy meets a lost cat in the supermarket parking lot where Shoppy lives with his cart family. Shoppy knows his feline friend needs help! He enlists the help of his homeless friend, Scruffy, and together they embark on a Halloween adventure. As day turns to night, you will be there as Shoppy, Scruffy and Bobby Q, the lost cat, devise a plan as a team to get back to the adoption center to find a new home for Bobby. This funny, colorful story also has serious lessons for children; that homeless folks need a hand sometimes as do lost pets. The young reader will learn the importance of trust, friendship, compassion all mixed in with fun. The rich color illustrations and the lively text will keep the beginning readers attention throughout the story!
