Diego Vega was born in Italy in 1976. He graduated in economics and has been working for twenty years for an international company. His love for animals led him and his daughter to save from the slaughterhouse two chicken chicks, destined to be killed for meat production This true story tells how an ordinary person, without veterinary skills, saved several other chickens from slaughter, despite living in an apartment building, without even a garden, at the beginning. A touching story that shows us why chickens and hens should be considered pets like dogs and cats, and not just food. A book full of feeling, which shows the unexpected interaction and deep bond that these animals can have with people. Through the narration of a story with an unpredictable ending, the book also teaches how to take care of chickens, even at home. The profits obtained from the sale of this book are used for activities to safeguard and relocate chickens saved from slaughter.
