Teddy Rocket Dog comes from a loving family where his father works, and his mum stays at home to tend the children. Teddy loves to help people in need, but he can become easily distracted. His zest for adventure is how he got his middle name Rocket, for he excelled at rocketing around the yard, chasing either a ball or some birds.

The sound of a horn signals there was a change to the neighbourhood. His mother informs him that the new neighbours will be moving in today. Teddy's friend Birdy flies over to see what all the commotion is about and learns the new neighbours are a family of cats.

Teddy is curious and wants to meet his new neighbours? Will he find that they are welcoming to him and his family? Or will he discover their arrival will disrupt their peaceful neighbourhood?
