Osedebamen Oamen is one of the contemporary playwrights in Nigeria He was born in Ugbokhare, to Ikpokhulum family in Ikekato Irrua, where he had his primary and secondary school education. Thereafter, he attended the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the Nigeria Premier Ivory Tower, the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. His published plays are The Scar and Ukpusomi, One more wife some more trouble, The women of Orena are wiser than the gods Tomorrow is for good character and (two act plays). He is the author of Mother's Moonlight folktales, AfricanMoonlight folktales (collections of African stories and myths). He is a lecturer in the Department of theatre and media Arts, Faculty of Arts, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State Nigeria where he teaches, does research and community service. His research works are published in local and international journals and books. In addition play writing, he is a cultural manager, the need for leadership scale xrays human hygiene which streams from moral hygiene, using the dunghill as a symbolic platform for corruption.
