Kerry is charmed by the beautiful South Pacific island as she arrives for her first long-awaited missionary assignment. Even though it's a less than glamorous secretarial position, she is enthusiastic about contributing to the work. She soon develops friendships with the other missionaries, especially with a young Bible translator who becomes her closest confidante.
