He carries five, two-foot stakes made of Australian Buloke, the hardest wood on Earth.
When their latest assignment leads to an old abandoned building, they find themselves in the middle of a contest bigger than anything they could have imagined... And might not figure out before it's too late.

I am still thinking about this story, days after reading it in one short sitting, and I am pondering how in the world this author managed to layout - with a style that is so casual and comfortable and smart and precise that I didn't even see what was coming - a weaving together of the wild and hilariously horrifying notions of hungry vampires and technology in a post-modern world...- Amazon reviewer
