This is the first book of the series Justice Seekers.

Pak Casen a decorated marksman in the marines, served his country as a special op's sniper during wartime. Now he and a fellow marine were serving as officers in the Chicago Police Department. At the obvious lack of real justice being served, and unable to change it, Pak calls it quits. He prepares to move back home to his Oklahoma ranch. However, things sometimes happen simultaneously. Pak was enjoying breakfast at a local restaurant, seated between two customers who were discussing current criminal problems. That was where he heard the tag... Justice Seekers. He listened closely, finding their conversation interesting.

Crime was running wild in the streets, and out of control in many areas of the country. Officials turn blind eyes and deal with criminal activity with lily-white gloves. Too many of the worst criminals get parole early. Many law breakers are out on the streets before the ink dries on arrest warrants. Gangs have become bold and unafraid as they manage to gain power within the system.

Before Pak could leave for Oklahoma, a horrible crime, and a surprise connection with another combat buddy, would move him into the next chapter of his life. It would affect the crime scene and create uncertainty among public officials. The police chief scrambles to calm things, while a precinct judge, city officials, and prominent businessmen take measures of their own. Mean, unfeeling gangs become wary, and someone known only as the King rises to bring order among the troops. Two women are in the mix. One works in the shadows, and the other, is a solid pillar of the community.
