It moves between construction sites and racecourses, family expectations and the solitude of endurance, the weight of suffering and the surprising lightness of faith.
Along the way, he learned to say a radical thing out loud: Cancer can have my body, but not my mind, heart, or soul.
Part survival story and part philosophy, this book weaves hard-won lessons into what he calls the DSSP formula-discipline, sacrifice, suffering, and pain. It's not about punishment, but about treading a path to freedom. Each chapter pairs a raw moment with a way of thinking that helped him stop fearing the finish line and start running toward it.
