Juju has ideas-lots of them.
When a bright yellow Zapple-Flapple crackles to life, Juju's imagination starts buzzing faster than she can build. Glitter flies. Tape spins. Projects multiply. Her ideas are exciting-but they're moving too fast to finish anything at all.
Add glitter! More tape! Make it spin!
What starts as creative fun quickly becomes overwhelming. One project turns into two... two turns into three... and suddenly Juju feels stuck instead of inspired.
In this playful and imaginative story, Juju learns that having big ideas is a gift-but learning how to slow them down is a skill.
With a deep breath and a gentle reminder to Glow Slow, she discovers how to focus her energy, choose one idea, and bring it to life.
Juju July and the Zapple-Flapple is a vibrant, fully illustrated children's book that helps young readers understand creativity, focus, and emotional balance in a way that feels relatable and empowering.
Perfect for children ages 7-11, this story supports:
- creativity and imagination
- focus and attention
- executive function skills for children
- growth mindset and confidence
- finishing tasks and follow-through
Ideal for classrooms, counselors, and families, this book opens the door for meaningful conversations about big ideas, fast thinking, and learning how to manage both.
Part of the Juju July series, each story explores a different kind of creative energy-helping children understand how their ideas grow, move quickly, or sometimes get a little tangled.
Whether your child is full of imagination, struggles with focus, or simply loves a magical story, Juju's journey will inspire them to embrace their ideas-and learn how to make them shine.
Because every big idea deserves the chance to be finished.
