John Brown (born 2 April 1935 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish former footballer, who played for Hibernian, Third Lanark, Tranmere and Hartlepools United. Hibernian Football Club are a Scottish professional football club based in Leith, in the north of Edinburgh. They are one of two Scottish Premier League clubs in the city, the other being their Edinburgh derby rivals, Hearts. Third Lanark Athletic Club was a football club that originally existed from 1872 to 1967, based in Glasgow, Scotland. Third Lanark were known as Thirds, the Warriors, the Redcoats or the High-High (the latter owing to the High High High! chant from their fans).
