In Jesus' Way of the Soul Primer-His Revolutionary Unknown Method of Personal and Spiritual Development Scripture Scholar and Therapist Dr. Robert North draws on his discovery of the intricate organization and meaning of the Gospel of Thomas. With that information combined with Jesus' parables and core sayings in the New Testament Gospels, he shows us that Jesus taught a shocking, unknown, revolutionary Way to develop oneself personally and spiritually. It is Jesus' real mes-sage, not the one taught by Christianity. North calls it, The Way of the Soul. It is a non-dogmatic practice rather than a belief system.
Dr. North explains how Jesus' revolutionary Way can be used by everyone including Atheists, Skeptics and Agnostics. If everyone lived it, religious conflicts would end. Further, inter-group, inter-personal, and intra-personal conflicts would be greatly reduced. And finally, North shows that Jesus' Way is the practical, overarching character development method that we all seek.
With Jesus' Way of the Soul Primer-His Revolutionary Unknown Method of Personal and Spiritual Development, people can quickly begin to develop them-selves as Jesus taught and modeled. You will find in this book:
- The history of the discovery of the Gospel of Thomas in 1945.
- An overview of the Way of the Soul and how it differs from current Christian theology.
- A guide to immediately practicing Jesus' Way.
- An explanation of the metaphors used in many of Jesus' Poems, and
- A Self-Assessment exercise that enables the reader to measure his development on the Way of the soul.
